Many strategy games, like Total War series, WW2 RTS like Company of Heroes, older CODs, MOH and Battlefield games taught me history.

Aww man. I still remember when my friend first introduced me to dark souls. I started with 3, I was late to it and him and I played through it together. That was the most fun I’ve had playing a game.
The music was phenomenal and gameplay wise I’ve never played a game like it before.
The treasures in Rise and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are real life objects with historically accurate descriptions narrated by Lara. Uncharted also has some real life historical facts mixed with plenty of fiction.
