“Something in the way she moves
Affects me like a cauliflower.”
Love hearing the place keeper lyrics they used. Just like “Yesterday” starting out as “Scrambled eggs.” Lol
This was the year I was born. Truly a unique time in history…1969 was wild.
Paul and Linda, just adorable.
It’s something alright
Where did people watch music videos in the 60s and 70s? Led Zepplin for instance didn’t even produce those.
I’ve gone my whole life as a Beatles fan, and somehow I’ve never seen this. Love it
Beautiful song, and I’m not ashamed to admit George Harrison is my favorite of the Fab Four.
With no MTV or other method of distribution, I have no idea where this would have been shown in 1969. First time I’ve seen this and I bought the album at my local drugstore when it first came out.
Random fact: James Taylor played a song he wrote call “Something in the way she moves” for his Apple Records audition prior to George Harrison writing “Something “.
Maureen has a sort of New Wave 1979 look. She’s way ahead of her time 🤔
All four of the Beatle wives looked beautiful
Half of the people in this video are dead now.
One person from each couple.
George wrote this about his wife Pattie and just a year later Clapton wrote Layla about her.
This chick must have had it going on, because I believe “wonderful tonight” is also about her.
Was there something going on with Ringo’s eyebrow?
Sinatra has a pretty good cover of this song too, arranged by Nelson Riddle
Sinatra thought Lennon-McCartney wrote it
Hearing this makes me lament and think artistically, creatively, lyrically, and musically that future performance generations are simply dead in the water. Our brave new world of technology and gadgetry has ruined the true pursuits of talent and virtuosity. Performance artists today are only renowned for their excesses and eccentricities. And the music business, along with the masses become too bored and tired with their ilk. So there is no more greatness and timelessness found with this present rush for hot, new vibrance in the talents of the egotistical “so-called artists” who are here today, gone tomorrow, and reputed and renowned mostly for being scandalized or prematurely dead.
(Sigh)

John at 1:28 lol
that and “michelle” these are songs that go together well
Going to see Ringo in March. Lifetime fan.
George definitely wins the hottest wife contest. Even Eric Clapton wanted in on that.
I really miss these guys.
John Lennon deserved to get shot in the face
John and Yoko look like new Hogwarts professors.
First time seeing the video. Love the intensity.
“None of them were together for this video” what does that mean exactly? Pretty sure the couples in the video were all together…
super confusing wording lol
Where’s the footage of John Lennon beating his first wife?
One of my all-time favourite songs. George Harrison’s talent was vastly overshadowed by Lennon & McCartney.
My other favourite is While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Eric Clapton was uncredited playing on this Beatles song.
I always go to: “The Long and Winding Road” but this is class too.
One of my favourite songs of all time
Jeez, Ringo was just plain plug ugly.
My God, Patti Boyd was a hottie!
John and Yoko going full Slytherin.
