The incredibly limited selection of enemies is the real way it’s so comparable to the first Zelda.
Pig
You forgot to add the lizards hide everywhere. EVERYWHERE!!
I prefer the lynels from A Link to the Past.
Not pictured: robot rocks, robot rocks with legs, bats, wizard faeries…
You forgot robot octopi
Can’t forget about the banana loving ninjas and the spiders with lasers
Oh, all the enemies to avoid and never fight because the game actively punishes you for engaging in combat because of the crime against video gaming that is the weapon durability system and the severe and dire lack of any sort of meaningful reward for even engaging in combat.
I found a Lynel about 10 minutes after leaving the plateau on my first play through.
“What’s that? Not gonna mess with it”
*Takes ridge line above it*
*Sees my first lightning arrow loosed in the game*
“Uhhhhh…..”
*Dies*
So… the OH GOD OH FU– is Zelda’s equivalent of a cazador?
On the bottom right for some reason I remember when I was a bit younger I would always farm golden versions of those and always killed them, I can’t recall why I farmed them but I think they were in a area around some volcano?
you miss the ancient guardian, aka D E A T H
Well, combat was never the strongest suit of the Zelda series, considering this “meme”, it’s ironic because BOTW has the best combat of the series (it’s functional). Hope Tears of the Kingdom improves the combat variety, just to spice things up
😂 ahhhh Lynels
Look, let me preface this with I love BoTW, it’s my single most played game of all time with like 9ish hundred hours in it, having played through it twice – once vanilla and once modded as Zelda.
But I can’t tell if I just find the enemy design to be annoying or if combat is annoying.
Where Spooky Pig?
Just got to the dodging lizard yesterday. He’s an annoying bastard.
Iam so dissapointed in this Game, i dont know why its often called the best game for the Switch.
The only thing good about it is the big World.
Coming from Sekiro, Lynel was a piece of cake lol
My personal favorite is Rock, but on fire. You can’t climb him, so just use bomb arrows to learn a neat game mechanic.
Mmm long pig.
I will do as I do irl kicking rocks until one of us surrender by now 100-0 to the rocks
Whats the oh god oh fuck one for. Super hard?
I wish I could be a newb
Hurry up, May 12th!
Lynels aren’t that difficult after you learn to dodge though. Assuming they don’t have a crusher of course.
Or rather: (from top to bottom, left to right)
Annoying if Gold, otherwise trash
Predictable, easy to farm chain backstab off
Stupid piece of shit that does ten hearts by spitting on you
Free food, the skeleton version is a pain in the ass
Free precious metals
Free stars
And octorock, aka “wtf just hit me???”
I don’t think we need to worry about newbies to a six year old game.
Man figuring out the Lynel’s attack patterns over the course of a few scarce encounters of a playthrough was really satisfying. Facing off and executing a series of flurries and not getting hit is a good feeling
I always love to fight Lionel Messi
I’ll play it asa I get my steam deck
Where “annoying electric bat”
