• Devs get too many passes nowadays because the gamer community tend to blame everything on corpo higher ups and refuse to see there are a lot of passionless/unskilled/lazy developers out there, especially after influx of lower standard hirings during the covid period.

• I’ll tell you why so many “modern” games “suck”…it’s because TPTB are trying to pretend we’re all old men…serious.

  So that you all go…”back in the good old days”, as if we’re all goddamn centenarians. It’s like with the movies. They give the “modern” ones a different feel so you all go “They don’t make ’em like they used”.

  I have my suspicions that they do this with every generation, but this time around, things are a little more different…and singular…
