The fighting game they made based on this for the Genesis was gorgeous, some of the best graphics on that system. Played it a lot on the Sega channel.

I remember as a kid waking up when the tv station was just color bars, making cereal, and sitting down for this to be the first show of the morning when the station started airing for the day.
I was so sad it ended on a cliff hanger.
The toys for this were absolutely badass. You didn’t just get an action figure, but a cool suit to put him in it that also shot projectiles!
That sounds reasonable. It’s simpler to manage if they are unable to reproduce.
