So I’m in Smithville sitting on a picnic table bench under a big ass oak tree and Ernie Hudson sits across from me. He’s between scenes on a film set, I’m the FX guy, also waiting to go back to work on the set. I ask Ernie, “how did you get in to acting?”, he says, “I was in college, doing some stage work and realized I could make a good living being a bit part actor, so far, it’s worked out for me”.
