I’ve seen this pic with the caption in front of Des Plaines McDonald’s (Ray Kroc’s first McD).
Funny story. They were so unprepared for the weather they would encounter they were freezing in their California clothing and went to a surplus store to buy cheap winter jackets so they wouldn’t freeze to death. They were NOT rich yet.
I think Eddie ordered no pickles, but the look on his face says… he got extra pickles.
