Diablo IV, is it worth it?

I’ve been playing Diablo Immortal for almost 2 weeks now and I’m wondering how good is Diablo IV and if it’s really worth it.
Is anyone around playing it and have an honest opinion or review about the game? I don’t trust YT much, specially when youtubers are sponsored.

I have played Blizzard games for a long time and it’s always the case that the game is better after a few patches post release . The game looks pretty heavily monetized and a blend of mmorpg and arpg elements. I don’t think it will excel as an mmorpg or arpg but a decent blend of both with generic quest. I think it will be a shitshow at launch since that’s blizzard signature move and fully expect queue times and glitches. It’s hard to review a game that’s not released but I’ve not been purchasing blizzard games because I don’t like their content release schedules. Seems like it will be story updates every 3 months with grinds in-between but would rather spend that time playing finished products for cheaper price tags. It’s not for me but if you like arpg’s then I would give it a try but I don’t have much confidence in the developer.

Don’t compare immortal to 4 even if it’s also available on pc, it’s also a free to play game so there’s that. Diablo 4 is it’s own thing and is a AAA title so sure I’ll expect issues but everything I’ve seen and heard even from friends who haven’t played a Diablo game before really enjoyed it so yeah I’d say it’s well worth it

I can only say “Error 37” and that just makes it that i dont wanna look at it. its gonna be there on launch for sure just another name than 37.

I wish all the buyers gl.

I started with D3 recently. It has a cartoon feel to it, there’s no grime or edge to it and gameplay felt hollow. I heard D2 was better and might try that.

    …. it’s not out yet?

but really, unless it’s an unmitigated technical mess, it’s not gonna be too bad. most AAA franchises are “templated”, and in Diablo’s case you’re getting exactly what an ARPG is supposed to offer to an average gamer. Just like Immortal yea.

the veterans may be happy or unhappy about certain things – the skill synergies, the meta, the builds, the itemization, the end game progression etc – all valid issues, but those aren’t gonna bother the majority of gamers (coz they’re not gonna notice).
