He did his best to try to answer the question in a neutral way and the reporter went in again asking the why the point spread. Classic Bobby Knight, oh you didn’t like my neutral answer I’m gonna fuck your entire segment you can take what you got or nothing at all.
The reporter at the end hilariously asked Knight to try it again, nope!

Knight was a brilliant basketball mind and a fucking asshole.
Knight is a jerk and a crybaby. During 1998-1999 season Northwestern was having a good season (by their standards) and almost knocked off Indiana twice. The second game Knight lost his temper and made a big fit about “Hoosier daddy” chants the crowd was making
what a joy and this was after a win. Somebody hired this guy and thought “he would be wonderful with the kids”
Emotional Toddler. He was repellant.
A bully and a jerk. It just goes to show that you can win a bazillion games and still be a loser.

His comment that homecourt advantage doesn’t factor into point differential is objectively incorrect. Surprised to see such a bad take from a “basketball genius”.
This guy was a cunt. Say what you want about how successful he was but there are plenty of other successful coaches who didn’t feel the need to be a joyless asshole.
