**Synopsis**: A deeply personal story on the strength of family, the complexity of friendship and the generational pursuit of the American Dream.
Armageddon hungry
Jeremy Strong looks preposterous in anything outside of his Succession getup but I love it.
Nice to see that Anthony Hopkins guy from Transformers: The Last Knight get more roles, I thought he was a breakout star in it
It’s Armageddon time
Oh this might be a masterpiece. This trailer alone hits you with an emotional wallop. Hathaway and Hopkins absolutely eating their lines, Darius Khondji eating the cinematography. Good stuff!
Wild tone shift in that trailer, but looks great!
Cool I always wanted Anthony Hopkins to make me cry in a theater again
Pretty moving. I’m a little cold on the director’s work, but he always has a good enough cast to pull me back in.
Anthony Hopkins is such a master at his craft, brought me to tears in just the trailer.
The theme of people continuing cycles of violence and abuse even after being the target of these injustices is one of the most unfortunate aspects of humanity. It takes a lot for people and opinions to change over time, and from the looks of this trailer, films like these go a long way towards helping society to shift in a positive direction.
Jessica Chastain? Count me in.
Great, another seemingly good movie that my local theater won’t play.
Damn that looks good.
If I had a nickel for every semi-autobiographical writer/director passion project coming out in the fall of this year…
This looks good as hell.
This looks great! I hope they don’t pull back
I absolutely love James Gray, Little Odessa and Two Lovers are two of the most beautiful, underrated films I’ve ever seen!
Another movie about the struggles and harships of racism and segregation.. as seen by a white guy.
Love it, love it, love it. One of the Telluride standouts
Excited about this .
It looks like it will be an engaging period drama.
The title feels too strong, but adolescence is almost always an apocalyptic time.
Jesus, talking about a tonal shift. Shit escalated quickly.
Oof, I got goosebumps. I know trailers go through fads, but the cuts on a single-note piano (or clock, or repeated sound, w/e) does it for me every time if the photography’s good.
Anthony Hopkins is going to end up with a resume of roles portraying octogenarians that could top a lot of major actors’ entire careers.
This looks like a parody of Oscarbait.
Robert De Niro, Oscar Isaac, Cate Blanchett and Donald Sutherland were originally casted for the movie 2 or 3 years ago. I wonder what happened that the cast changed so much.
