I used to love this as a kid.
Still do, too.
Watch out for the icy patch!
This movie was my childhood Christmases. This, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, The Christmas Toy, and the Claymation thing with the California Raisins. I see the thumbnail and I can smell home cooked meals and feel the carpet in my parents’ living room.
Amazing the little things the mind remembers.
Love the Fraggle Rock crossover.
The one I watch every year. Love it.
A muffed family Christmas
Jumped right to the 23ish minute mark for that straight up Milk propaganda. Man, that was effective marketing.
A tradition in my family. We wore out a VHS and we’re thrilled to find it on youtube
So, how many of you didn’t catch it when it looped and started at the beginning? I just figured Fozzie said everything was gonna be great so they started singing again.
This first aired the year I was born, so I would have only been a few months old, but every subsequent airing I watched religiously from a toddler all the way to high school. The atmosphere and energy are what come to my mind when people say Christmas and it’s the level of cozy that I aspire to have in life.
Always love seeing the original commercials at the time as well
Something just occurred to me. At around 35:45, Robin discovers a Fraggle Hole, leading into the final part of the crossover. But I don’t think that Fraggle Hole was there before.
I think the Hole opened up that day. Because that day was the day Doc came to stay at Ma Bear’s house too. And as the finale of Fraggle Rock showed, Doc cannot leave the magic. Hence, a new Hole.
I don’t care if the turkey says the dog’s the turkey, the dog is not the turkey, the turkey’s the turkey, you turkey
Wow that was a blast from the past, I only wanted to skim through it just for the nostalgia and ended up watching the whole thing! Even the commercials! haha, nice! thanks OP!
[Whenever I see Doc, all I can think of is this.](https://youtu.be/s8o0GbnL0_g?t=18) Interesting that both characters are named Doc. NSFL
I paid an obnoxious amount of money for a DVD of the original version that aired on TV. Ms. Piggy sings a song that was cut out in home video releases, so pirated VHS recordings were the only way to get the whole movie.
