My D&D campaign in a nutshell.
I try todo this all the time because more allies means all future final battles are easier plus its fun to interact with companions.
All I can imagine is a dnd campaign with a druid just befriending every creature they come across
Every time I try this my pet mysteriously vanishes overnight. Some day I will dm and my players will have all the monster friends they want.
Undertale be like:
What do you offer him?
Your soul?
Good old Baphy
Shin Megami Tensei in a nutshell.
Ahhh, the Merilwen approach.
It’s like Rainbow Billy. If only I hadn’t gotten that deathloop bug.
This feels like horizon but instead of befriend you just roll on the chance of overriding and not getting stampeded to death lol.
Isn’t there an isekai about a luchador who does that to every creature and opens a pet shop? He also suplexes anyone who threatens his tiny dog.
It would be hilarious if you started off the campaign, tried to keep a rat as a pet. You roll a 1. You are now its pet. And the DM now takes you on a journey where the rat and his trusty steed (that’s you), reclaim lands lost in the civil war which led to the rat’s exile from their kingdom.
If they’re the Prince of Beasts then she’s proved herself to be a friend to all beasts.
You basically just described Pokemon
I appreciate this post
Wait…you can fuck everything in DnD with the right requirements right?
Fucking Lukka…
I’m tryna befriend Loona the Hellhound wish it was this easy
Me
sounds like the story of my life…
A reimagined story or Reincarnated as a slime told in the style of DnD! I love it! Lmao
So he offered his soul then
Natural 1: you die in one fucking hit
At first, I couldn’t see the rat in the last panel, so I thought he fed it to Baphomet! 🙁
Pokemon be like:
Meanwhile, in the Bard’s campaign…
At what point does the DM check that dice?
That’s me when I play Spore
