My dad was one of the 1st sales reps for Cisco Systems. The first sales office for Cisco was in the basement of the home I grew up in, located in Rahway NJ. He worked at Cisco from 1989 to 1999.
When he retired they gave him this router which sent the first internet connections from NYC to Tokyo. It is signed by everyone who worked at Cisco Systems in 1989. I still have it as memorabilia. RIP dad.
As a network engineer I am glad you posted this. I think it is very cool.
Is it still under a service level agreement for support? 😀
