As a former exchange student in the USA, I can relate to that and it’s quite interesting how things haven’t changed much…

Suzie from Brazil is worlds above the rest of the panel, she is much more perceptive then most contemporary teenagers.

1. They all had their preconceived notions that didn’t align with their real world experiences.
2. By modern standards, they’re all racists. Not that I agree with that modern standard, but it has to be mentioned. Even the Ethiopian kid thinks that his particular group is superior to other groups that we wouldn’t see as being different from each other.
The South African was all r/IAmVerySmart, the Italian got cut off at the end like she was about to say some real badmouth shit lol. The Brazilian spoke to the point and seemed the most straightforward.
I’m not sure what the Ethiopian was trying to express with mention of Italians (?) in comparison.
