Buying New York Strips doesn’t help.
I mean groceries have gone up everywhere but when you buy 2 dozen eggs and a ton of steaks it’s obviously gonna be more expensive. The meat alone is probably 40$+ of that
How’d you spend $100 when protein is typically the most expensive and your cut is like $8 on the first package? What’s costing you so much money?
I got a feeling that this post is going to attract many commenters and start a lively discussion!
I am always curious… What’s the recipe?
I want to see one of these where someone buys 100 dollars worth of instant Ramen noodle
Who the fuck doesn’t grow their own marshmallows?
Edit: Thanks for the award.
Y’all really will buy New York strips and caviar and be like “tHis iS $100 wOrtH oF gRocEriEs” like yeah no shit lmao? Most of us aren’t buying 20 avocados and half a cow’s worth of steak
So I just bought some of these items in Oklahoma as well this week. Eggs and avocados are almost the same price per each. Astonishingly eggs are almost $0.50/each. Avocados were $0.68/each. So we are heavy guac this week!
I’m really not sure what these kinds of posts are meant to accomplish. Groceries cost different amounts in different places and evidence that not everyone knows how to bargain shop?
You dont have to eat steak and eggs for every meal ya know.
Look at mr fancy pants and his angus beef
Yeah, there are like 4 packs of beef there. That’s probably at least $50 right there. Take away the avocados and the rest of this stuff probably costs like $20
$20 at aldi
Nice try hiding the steaks
These posts should go in r/whatsinyourcart not r/pics
$75 worth of beef.
Meat and avocados, $80
yeah dipshit you spent $80 on steak.
If you’re trying to shop on a budget, then you’re bad at shopping.
Yeah, your bill is gonna be over $100 when you buy 4 goddamn steaks and 7 avocados.

Sherlock over here.
SHOW US THE MEAT STICKERS
The avocados aren’t the problem here. They’re like 50 cents each in Oklahoma currently. It was a whole $3.50 pre-tax for them.
Edit: Yes. Homeland is typically more expensive. I’ve worked there, I know. They do occasionally have some really good deals though.
I’m in OK too and grocery prices are so out of control here. But dude, Homeland is one of the most expensive grocery stores we have here. Like they mark everything up by a minimum of 15% at least /:
This is like one of my coworkers complaining about grocery prices because he only got a couple meals out of $200+. He bought steak and seafood. Like, bro….
