I’m not going to argue for which is better, but what I can say is that for all its faults I enjoyed Cyberpunk a lot more than GTA V. I actually finished the former, while the latter bored me stiff halfway through.
I hate when people compare the two games, while both are clearly different games. One is open world with simplistic combat and having the police AI being the big part of the game (of course there are other major things in it), while the other open world is more rpg and focuses on exploration and the story.

Cyberpunk is definitely better than GTA V, as long as you don’t include driving mechanics, weapons, cop AI, pedestrian AI, AI in general, physics, number of vehicles, number of vehicle types, motion capture artist performance, online, size of map, number of missions, replayability, every aspect of open world games.
idk if this is a hot take, but I absolutely hated Keanu’s character in CP2077. Its the entire reason I dropped the game after 60 hours. I could handle the glitches and not living up to the hype, but I just COULD not stand his character once they became a regular fixture of the game.
I usually like stuff Keanu is in too, so it felt doubly bad just how much I disliked it 🙁

Got the game today since it was on sale. Still has some bugs and weird slow loading of models problems. But really enjoying the story so far.
