I read a documentary-like blog post about a board game company that developed a board game that was so divicive during testing they had to cancel further development. Basically, a game with tanks and action-tokens that you essentially had to donate bullets to others and trust they didn’t actually just shoot you in the game.
(And yes, of course I would have linked the story if I remembered where to find it.)
