The most interesting part of A Handmaid’s Tail is that none (or almost none) of the atrocities are made up. Throughout recent history they have happened to women and “non-believers”.
To all women who are seeing this, if you’re in a country where you are still allowed to vote, vote AGAINST any party, candidate, etc., who wants religion to control the government. Speak up and fight against your government becoming a theocracy – no matter what religion – or this is your future. If you don’t want this, change it now before it’s too late.
