that stupid tesla clock is a copy without any of the charm or point of the tubes.
I believe it. Big of this guy to suck it up and just be happy about the inspiration he provided hoping for a shred of credit.
Tube clocks like his have been around for 20 years. He copied others and his stuff is pretty ok compared to other stuff out there. Sure him taking one to tesla may have sparked their idea, but its not like this guy invented the basic layout of nixie tubes on a rectangle of xxxxxx material. A simple google search will show you tons of them. Dude is using his visit to tesla to drum up some drama and sales.
