But a drone strike happens daily and it doesn’t even tickle the back of your mind. “Ugh, politics and news, gross.” The apathy of the world is it’s true evil. Not the evil men doing evil things. There’s so many injustices everywhere that everyone would say “obviously that’s wrong”, yet it all keeps going on. The wealthy openly bribe and call it “lobbying”. The wealthy start wars to further their interests. Let’s look at Ukraine from the perspective of the filthy rich and see where the motivates are here. Same with Hong Kong and Taiwan. Other countries have watched America start wars to enrich the ultra-wealthy. They want in on the action. Who’s pulling the strings to start these conflicts? Imagine watching this from Ukraine.
The one of these that got me was where the pre-teen girl found a little boy she was looking after when they both got separated from their families. When they found the little boy a family to live with and they got separated again she said “But he’s all I have left.” That one suckerpunched me right in the feels.
Fuck war and what it does to innocents caught up in it. Makes me wish there was a way to teach everyone how to live in peace and actually have them listen.

Patience everyone. The invasion of Ukraine is not a foregone conclusion. Afghanistan took down the Soviet Union and the government in the eighties, and the Russian people don’t stand for a lot of stupidity. Let’s see how this plays out. It’s up to all of the social media to prevent these stupid conflicts and prevent them before they start. There are enough of us. It just takes organizing. BTW. Soldiers that see this shit happen to children every day never get over it either, and the Veterans Administration hurts rather than helps. Sometimes PTSD doesn’t happen as a result of our own injuries, but someone else’s..
