They used to give you games in Cereal Boxes sometimes.

100% remember that casino one
The Kellogg’s platformer game was epic!
Just what every child needs, a casino game, gotta get em hooked early.
I got a hockey skills DVD.
Chex quest was actually an awesome game
Same in Spain, once I sent a coupon thingy to get one (you had to cut it out of the box and send it like a postal with your address on it), a year later the game arrived, next day delivery wasn’t a thing back then.
Ah yes, the free 1,099 hours of internet courtesy of America On-Line. Classic.
Demos with pizza delivery was amazing
Everybody had Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 in my neighborhood because of cereal boxes. Good times
I played the hell out of the captain crunch video game as a kid
purdue dino nugget games gang
I was there 3000 years ago
I got a movie in mine once; The Thief and the Cobbler
I remember getting an xmen game for computer when I was yungin
I miss excitement of getting a demo disc. I knew my parents would never buy me the games. But I have fond memories of playing FUCK out of the first levels of Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and Duke Nukem 3D.
It’s how I got roller coaster tycoon. And that is probably one of my favorite games of all time. Influenced my life like crazy.
Speedy Eggbert
Links was fucking good
I remember getting DVD games from Wendy’s Kid’s meals. Wendy’s toys were always the best.
Not to crap on demo disc but some viruses back in the day accidentally got on peoples PCs through them
I had a General Mills cereal game that had various card games that I loved as a kid. Also had some Tonka truck game that was badass, AND can’t forget Roller Coaster Tycoon, all from cereal!
Reminds of the games you could get from Taco Bell, used to play the BMX one all the time.
I had the captain crunch one
I still have captain crunch’s crunchling adventure lol. I remember the Rollercoaster Tycoon games getting a cereal box release at one point.
The Red Baron pizza video game?!?
I had an Amazon (rainforest not company) themed Organ trail at one point that I’m pretty sure came from a cereal box. I don’t remember much about it except for spear fishing, and constantly dying to wildlife, but mostly piranhas… probably because I was spearfishing…
Wow thank you for showing me that breakout again!
The golf game looks familiar for sure
When I was a kid I won dragon warrior for the NES from a cap for a 2 liter of soda, I didn’t have an NES at the time but my parents surprised me with one when my birthday rolled around. Pretty clever way to get parents to buy more consoles.
Can’t imagine finding a CD in Mt cereal 💀💀💀
That beach soccer never had that move. They just danced when they scored lol
You’re missing mr. Domino and roller coaster tycoon.
Time for my favorite gaming story!
I got the demo of Desperados in a cereal box. Being a child both unfamiliar with game mechanics or firearms and not bothering to read the page of tutorial instructions, it didn’t occur to me there was probably a mechanic to reload your guns. I did the entire demo with 6 bullets for each character. I loved it so much I got the main game and I sure did feel dumb when the first tutorial mission shows you how to reload, felt like cheating somehow lol.
That’s how I was introduced to the wonderful world of Rollercoaster Tycoon. I think we also had some Stuart Little game we got in a box of cereal as well.
Holy fuckin Links LS… Amazing.
When I was a kid we got a game in our cereal called Amazon Trail. About a month ago me my mom and my sister got to talking about it and unknown to me my mom bought it on Amazon and surprised me with it. I haven’t played it again yet but I plan to once I get a new computer. I loved that game and have so many good memories playing it with my mom and sister.
Once got the original age of empires in a box of Coco Pops, I was stoked
*c’mon c’mon c’mon – It’s the worldwide privacy tour*
I used to play games from cereal boxes, I still do.. but I used to, too.
everyone in australia had a copy of the original Age of Empires at one point when they put it in boxes of nutri grain
