If Fraser wasn’t personably likable with the benefit of Reddit nostalgia this trailer would be roasted to hell on here. Everything they’ve released feels like its an SNL parody of Oscar bait
I’ve been in & out of peoples lives for over a decade due to depression & various other things…I love Brendan & cannot wait to see this movie but I know that it will hit me super hard….hell even the trailer had me sobbing like a baby. I’ll be crying in the back of the theater alone haha
Watched this last night in a packed theater, I’m not ashamed to cry in films but I’ve never had to hold back ugly crying in a theater. Gut punch, Brendan Fraser is fucking amazing. Like he just packed up all the heartbreak and depression he had over the last decade and let it all out. Amazing performance.
Im so happy for Brendan. I can’t wait to see The Whale.

I don’t know if a theater chain will bring the movie to South America, but I have hopes my local art house theater will, so looking foward to it.

They really went *Fences* with this trailer. That clip at the end probably just won him the Oscar.

I saw this a few weeks ago.
Fraser and Chau’s performances were solid. Everything else is _BAD_. Like, very bad.
So it’s The Wrestler with a really fat dude. Looks good though.

I honestly have been needing a good cry. God damn the end of the trailer even got me a little choked up.
They didn’t use that same screenshot of Brendan Fraser staring off to the side. Cowards.
