The Super Nintendo was the best console. You can’t convince me otherwise.

The original Killer Instinct!!!
I loved the SNES and it’s library of games are second to none. Everything about it was a step up, the games, the controllers, the design. It all came together perfectly.
I’m old enough that I started with the NES and got to experience the SNES first hand and there was nothing like it. I honestly feel bad for any gamer that during that period had to grow up with a Genesis instead of a SNES. I’m not saying the Genesis didn’t have good or great games, but it just pales in comparison to what the SNES was putting out there.
What I love is that I could recognize like 4 or 5 of the games from the tiny thumbnail.
And you’re not wrong. So many classics.
Didn’t know Harvest Moon was on super Nintendo
Maybe it’s nostalgia but IMO SNES is the best. But I also feel like the stories were better in games? I may be trippin but secret of Evermore? Final fantasy 3? Chrono trigger? Lufia? Illusion of Gaia? Fucking EARTHBOUND! BOF? I could keep going super Mario RPG (had to mention that). I just don’t know if the stories were better or if it is nostalgia or if it was just all new and awesome to me at the time.
I played so many hours of my SNES in the early nineties.
Street fighter 2 turbo, Super Mario, home alone, looney tunes buster busts loose, lion King and the Simpsons.
I’d kill for a few months off work + a SNES with these games.
Oh wow, someone included Shadowrun. Under rated gem on the SNES IMO.
Super ghost and ghouls
All of these and the Lufia series are such bangers. Easily my favorite console of all time.
There was a Harvest Moon for the SNES!?!?! Never knew that
Well,this was a good discussion😉
Super Mario rpg is my favorite RPG ever
F-ZERO!!!!!
Show some respect.
Sheesh.
Sega gang rise up.
Secret of Evermore representing!!!!
True fact to this day I still haven’t played a better rpg than chrono trigger
Yoshi’s Island where?
such disrespect!
This is Karma farming, like the Gamecube post I saw a few days back. You can’t convince me otherwise.
I wanted a sequel to Super Mario RPG so bad. That was my first RPG, and i still play it every few years or so. It aged super well.
I mean, the NES with the beginning of franchises like Castlevania, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario Bros, Metal Gear, Metroid, MegaMan and then countless others: Dragon Warrior, Goonies 2, Tyson Punch out, the list goes on. I think graphics, controls, capabilites, etc. got better for sure with tech advancements, but the NES really still holds a special place in my heart.
Killer Instinct forever has my heart. I got the bundle as a kid that came with the Killer Cuts CD. Still listen to those tracks to this day! 🖤
I grew up with a NES, then played with the SNES when some of my friends got one but my favorite console was the N64.
I love SNES but N64 has single years with more classic releases than there are on this image… Just take 97′ for example;
GoldenEye 007, Diddy Kong racing, Blast Corp, Starfox 64, Extreme G, Turok, Bomberman 64, Yoshi’s Story, Snowboard Kids, Mystical Ninja Star and Mortal Kombat: Subzero, to name only a few.
Still like the SNES though, and you too 🤝
The Virtual Boy was the best console.
You can’t convince me otherwise.
Uniracers is one of my favorite games
‘Preciate that nod to Shadowrun, OP that’s an underrated game right there
Killer instinct and soul blazer… But not Yoshi’s Island.
Blasphemer.
