Literally just bought this game on steam and looking forward for playing it. Never played a Tales game before but I needed something fresh and this looked like a lot of fun!
Tales of Arise is second to Berseria for me, also Law reminds me of Claude from fire Emblem.. May or may not be the reason why I’ll protect Law with everything I have 🙃
I tried zestria, got up to the last boss but literally one get past his one shot I’m too weak. Tried beseria (I think it’s called that?) And loved it but haven’t been back to it
Vesperia tops both of the aforementioned easily. Arise was the better of the two imo but even then the pacing was erratic. And that’s being charitable.

I really enjoyed the beginning, but the game began to feel like a slog to me toward the second half. I’m a huge Tales fan, but I honestly don’t think Arise even makes my top 3.

If you liked it then you should give Tales of Berseria a try. Arise had a very good story, but Berseria’s was even better in my opinion

This game looks fun but I just can’t get into anime. It’s ridiculous.
Not sure why people du k on tales games so. Much. Everytime. I play one it’s a lil. Differ and good.

The story seemed interesting but the way gameplay worked and the difficulty spike the game has are just a turn off for me
I honestly don’t care for the story, but combat was addictive AF……was easily one of my favorite RPGs
I played it on release and had a lot of fun!
I loved it at the start, then began getting bored. The I thought it ended with that bossfight in the castle, but it kept going and I wanted to quit.
But then, the second half of the game was so insane, I’m really glad I stuck with it.

I tried the demo but the combat in this game is just not for me…
Everything was good. The fact that didn’t win GOTY in 2021 is the proof that is only a popularity contest and nothing more.

Honestly I 100%d the game and if you asked me to explain the story i could not. I got confused at one point and now i cant recall anything
