Lol… I just watched it this morning. Happy for the dude. I hope he comes through my town again. I missed him last time.
Back in the day it always went around that there was a conspiracy that the government pushed this song to highlight how weed is bad.
Classic song, it is gonna be played for decades to come!
Was he going to get high but instead wrote a song?
How unexpectedly wholesome!
I was going to watch this video, but then I got high.
My dad’s favourite song, he’d smoke so much and always forget stuff.
This song made him enjoy life again.
Dude seems happy with life. S’more than a lot of people can say.
Palmdale and back to school are other belters from that album.
Lots of people like the dirty rap too…
I was working at subway one day back when this song was new and there was a dj at the station that was getting fired or something so he locked himself in the studio and played this song on repeat for hours. We listened to it the entire time 😂
Then I think Drops of Jupiter came on next.
Wholesome af. Left me smiling
I had no idea Jay and Silent bob made this song go national. They played it non stop on the rock radio station i listened to as a kid before he got signed. This was in one of the areas he mentioned in the video.
The song I listened to when I first got high thought I was going to prison
mirror?
Vice has a whole series of these videos, all pretty good. Most interesting were “Blue” by Eiffel 65 and “Who let the dogs out” by Baja men
Wasn’t bad but nowhere near as good as some of the other ones. Shaggys it wasn’t me was good, they show how the song was created. This was basically like a 30 second summary with the majority being about Afromans personal life.
Love that song….
that series is great!
