The Quest to Build a 4D Rubik’s Cube

  • I wonder if there can be a generalised formula that defines the equivalent of a Rubik’s Cube in all dimensions, as well as functions that can be defined that represent all legal positions, solved and unsolved, for those formulas. Presumably maybe no, as in it wouldn’t be just one formula or set of formulae, but maybe there can be groups of them that work in certain groups of dimensions.
