Great movie, ahead of it’s time
I was 13 when it came out and couldn’t get enough of it; saw it 3 times! I still love the backlit “candy apple” aesthetic (which was everywhere in the late ’70s / early ’80s advertising).
Only my favorite Disney movie. I would love to just live in this movie’s development period. Between this, the DVD commentary, and the D23 presentation from this past year, there’s *so* much to love about how handcrafted the movie is.
