Mano Animations is the only animation studio in Pakistan and their attempt to make a 2d animated movie. Since we don’t have animation studios in Pakistan hopefully this will act as an introduction to animation in Pakistan
This looks… really fucking good!?
I’m all for Pakistani anime
Got goosebumps man Awesome work!!! Keep it up guys love ❤ from India .
Pakistan making his entrance into animation.
Lets Go!!!!
I’m getting strong Ghibli vibes from the showreel (which is a good thing). Kinda reminds me of Howl’s Moving Castle.
Ghibil quality
the studio is very faithful to the ghibli aesthetic as far as visuals and general tone, especially with the music. amazing work, i have a feeling this will be the first of many well-regarded entries into the newly minted “pakistanime” genre.
When will it be releasing?
Looks wonderful!
Unbelievable that a studio in Pakistan has managed to make something this high quality. Wish them the best.
This looks amazing, I am honestly surprised how good this all looks. I will watch this movie for sure (hope it is available in Germany somehow). I will watch the future of Pakistani animation with great interest!
Read it as “The first ever 2nd animated” movie at first…was utterly confused. But it looks great!
Beautiful! I will see this when it comes out (if I can find a way to do so!)
Looks gorgeous. Has a crisp Zuiyo Eizo/Nippon Animation vibe.
This looks absolutely amazing!
I had to stop watching the trailer just so I dont spoil myself too much with the what could happen in the movie, but that made me absolutely giddy.
Weird plane designs and strong Ghibli vibes, I’m in.
They have a good focus on details and fluid animation which is something I like when they focus on a craft like the food in Flavors of Youth.
The biggest hurdle toward being great would be the story and voice work.
The eyes give me Totally Spies! vibes.
Holy shit that’s beautiful
Pakistanimation for the win!
This looks good!
Wait, no one in pakistan ever made an animated movie before?
Interesting how they chose to do a sort of European setting instead of something about Pakistani culture for what is their country’s first tradition anime film. Regardless its well done though I do wish they would adopt their own style instead of trying to emulate Studio Ghibli.
This looks great.
Yess more 2d animation! I’m so tired of the 3d disney Pixar ones
Looks beautiful. I love the attention paid to the glassblowing and even the sign making, very much reminds me of Ghibli (as well as the aesthetic).
That and the street food and the people’s dress depict a world which seems a miss mash of turn of the century settings, which is reminiscent of many Ghibli productions.
Will certainly keep my eye on it, and hope to see more ‘Pakinstanimation’.
This looks incredible! Sold! I need more! Haha
RemindMe! 1 year
It’s really cool how much work they’ve done and it’s made even clear by the juxtaposition of sketch frames not even fully outlined or colored. Really cool to see that in between work
Well if this is the WIP I can’t wait to see the finished project!
This is really impressive and I love how passionate the team behind it seem to be. Hoping this does really well as Pakistan has an ability to produce some incredible talent.
Looks really good. Can definitely feel the Ghibli inspiration both thematically and stylistically. But it definitely has its own touch as well. I will 100% be following this and hopefully seeing it (in the US) when it releases.
That is the most beautiful animated film I have seen all year.
Very interesting. Hope it does well and will keep an eye out for it.
I really, really, REALLY hope this movie is successful.
