I really enjoyed [“these lights”](https://youtu.be/r_SpvWfKigE) found on a sampler disc back when you could grab those up at the local record store.
Thought I was the only one who remember this band
[The album closer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aF6CdtP8w0) is a great song. Love the arrangement!
Never heard about them but still I feel nostalgic while listening to this song :o)
This was my favorite Forecast song. It’s a banger

loved this band, reminds me of simpler times!
I just recently was feeling nostalgic for the Forecast and went through their discography after not listening to them for probably a decade. Great band, a lot of their stuff still holds up. I miss the days of tandem vocalists.
Man music videos are a lost art. The telecaster playing the acoustic guitar part, staring through a laundromat dryer, downing the lights when he says “blackout”, slow motion walking through an American flag. Just beautiful
Did she ever get those braces off?
Dude! I’ve been trying to remember this song for like a decade. Hell yeah!
sparkly guitar, check. long hair, check. sweet female harmony, check. midwestern setting, check. only thing missing, imo, is lyrical complexity and depth. check out The Anniversary.
Love these guys. The contrast in the harmonies between the female and lead vocalist is killer.
This album was a snooze fest. Definitely some good songs on it. But for how good of a band they were, it was a little boring. But late night Conversations and the self titled album (2010) are true heavyweights in the genre.
I heard a snippet of a song on the radio one day and it reminded me of Agent M from Tsunami Bomb. Once I got home, I started trying to track down their album. These were the old days, so I had to order it in-store at Barnes & Noble and wait like a week or two for it to arrive.
I ended up seeing them live a bunch of times and they were fantastic. One of the most underrated bands of the era. I think you gotta blame Victory Records for that. They were too busy shoving bands down our throat based on the popularity of certain members’ previous projects.
Dayummmm. Used to love Late Night Conversations!
