I think Reg Varney off On the Buses opened it.
It was the world’s first ATM and was opened by Reg Varney
I remember the first ATM’s. It was always keeping my card.
most ATMs still have the NCR logo on them too
Interesting how the overall look and feel remains about the same.
Why does this photo feel fake? I’m not claiming that op posted a fake photo. I’m fairly certain it’s genuine. But, why does it *feel* fake?
Edit: Maybe it’s because the lady’s outfit seems much more dated than the technology she is operating?
Didn’t George Santos say he both invented AND installed this machine??
I wonder if she’s a rag woman. Gotta watch out for that rag lung!
OF COURSE it was an NCR product! They rocked!! I presume they were “absorbed” or acquired….
