>From writer-director Jeff Nichols (“Loving,” “Midnight Special,” “Mud”), 20th Century Studios and New Regency, “The Bikeriders” is a furious drama following the rise of a fictional 1960s Midwestern motorcycle club through the lives of its members, starring Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve,” “The Last Duel”), Austin Butler (“Elvis”) and Tom Hardy (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Revenant”).
>“The Bikeriders” opens in U.S. theaters on December 1.
Tom Hardy with a sketchy accent? Ok i’m in
This looks really good. Quite the cast as well as the very underrated Jeff Nichols directing.
It will be interesting if Austin Butler can get back to back Oscar leading actor noms.
It would be cool to see Tom Hardy to get a supporting actor nom as well.
Tom Hardy doing a stupid accent lmao. Trailer does a good job of selling what looks like an entertaining melodrama. Austin Butler looks really cool.
Looks good, but I couldn’t help but find Jodie Comer’s accent kinda… ridiculous sounding
Accents aside (this is probably going to be worth it just to hear everyone trying to maintain any sort of continuity with their own voice from scene to scene) this commercial seems to be evenly split between riding bikes and ripping heaters. Almost Mad Men-tier.
That said, I can’t imagine this will be even remotely bad considering Jeff Nichols is making it, and Jeff Nichols doesn’t miss.
I don’t know if these accents are good or bad, but I love them.
Pretty wild to see my street featured so heavily in a movie. Not sure what that says about my neighborhood if its only name to fame is being featured in 60’s-70’s period pieces.
Looks OK but not that interesting to see in a movie theater.
Looks great
Jeff Nichols has trouble finishing his movies, but I will be checking this out.
Dudes rock.
Is that Dewey Crowe I see?
Must’ve been a relief for Austin Butler to just play a normal guy here compared to Elvis and his role in Dune Part 2.

What are these accents
Goodfellas, but on motorcycles!
YES a new Tom Hardy voice. Looks excellent. Jeff Nichols is such a solid filmmaker, looks like his best one since Mud.
Good to see Mike Faist again. He was just awesome in West Side Story.
We rarely get biker gang films! Super stoked for this actually, especially if it stars Tom hardy and Michael Shannon
As a huge fan of Danny Lyon (the photographer who made the photo book that this film was based on), Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, and Jeff Nichols, I CANNOT wait for this goddamn film. Looks incredible.
Seeing Austin Buter riding over the bridge, reminiscent of the famous photo from The Bikeriders book was chilling and nearly gave me goosebumps
Tom Hardy coming in hot with his signature squint-acting and another difficult to place northern blue collar american accent. I swear, Tom Hardy has played americans in probably 75% of the movies he’s been in, and he either lays on the thick New Yahwk accent or a super syrupy southern one, nothin’ in between. Dude sure likes his wheelhouse.
If you’ve never heard the song Bikeriders by Lucero (fronted by Jeff Nichols brother Ben) that this film is based on listen to it right now. Ben Nichols is one of my favorite musicians and Jeff Nichols is one of my favorite filmmakers so to see the brothers collaborate like this has me over the moon.
Regarding the accents – I read that Comer is trying to sound like a real person, there were tapes of the real lady she is trying to emulate, so maybe that woman’s accent was just weird.
Hardy – I read an interview with him once, maybe it was for The Drop? Where he said he was trying to imitate Sean Penn’s accent in We’re No Angels. Watch [this movie clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sehGLkGe-iI), it all makes so much sense now. This is how he sounds as Eddie Brock too. Is this what he thinks Americans sound like?
I can fix him: the movie

Seriously, I’ll watch anything Jeff Nichols directs.
I was an extra in this and somehow made the trailer. LOL
Love that Michael Shannon is in this, Nichols and him seem to be tight
Austin Butler playing Charlie Hunnam: the movie? 🙂
Tom Hardy “The Drop” voice is back!
the knife slice to bottle open edit was dope af
Could see myself seeing this one, looks interesting
Lots of bikes and jackets, hazy accents from Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer, Elvis Presley, and Michael fucking Shannon. Let’s fucking go.
I…can’t tell if this looks good or bad? But I’m invested either way so they win.
Heard very good things from a friend who saw this. Comer nomination seems to be a lock apparently
That may be the worst accent Tom Hardy has ever done
Just based on the name, and not watching the trailer, I assumed this was about bicycle couriers.
Yikes, Jodie Comer’s acting and accent were bad here.
They could’ve taken at least another three minutes to come up with a better title
I saw Michael Shannon at a Kurt Vile concert when it was being filmed in the Cincinnati area.
It’s probably gonna be a lot of fun, but I just cannot take this seriously.
Everyone seems like they’re acting in a different film. Separately, these actors are all amazing, together it’s just doesn’t gel.
It is meant to be a comedy, right?
**ACCENTS**

Lol at the accents. Surprisingly Butler is the normal accent relative to Hardy and Comer.
Looks interesting.Need to watch Nichols’ other films
I’m surprised Comer is billed first.
Not really shown in the trailer but Boyd Holbrook and Norman Reedus are also in this, great cast!
Speaking of hardy, what’s up with the hardy Netflix movie from the raid 1 and 2 director Gareth evans? It’s supposedly coming out this year and says it was done filming in October 2021
That’s a terrible title
Some weird ass accents all around.
New personality dropping for some guys lol
But I’ll watch it
why is everyone talking with such an atrocious accent?
