God, those VHS “games” were such a massive scam.

I remember in the 80’s there was a saterday morning cartoon that did something like the VHS tape thing too, to sell more toys, you needed to buy speical toys to “play” along with the cartoon, sorry I can not remember the name of the cartoon.
These game’s definitely induced epileptic fits
Man the things you could get away with before the internet. I wonder how many people took just a second to sit there and think: “how is a VCR tape going to allow me to play an actual game?”
I’d also love to see the people who at the end of the game were like “Ah I wanna play that again!” They rewind the tape and go “wait a minute, this is playing the exact same as before!”
The pain of having an Action Max when everyone else had an NES was unfathomable.
I still have my Action Max, The Rescue of Pops Ghostly, .38 Alley, and Sonic Fury.
If you’re an aging mid-30’s year old that’s never heard of this thing like me… here’s an interesting review of it
