I hope this pans out. It’s good for the game all around.
I wonder if the NBA has the same problem as the NHL, the IOC or whatever it is called refuses to cover insurance etc for the players, and the NHL can’t use any Olympic footage etc for advertising.
Did current NBA players go to the last Olympics? I can’t remember.
Does the IOC allow flopping?
If LeBron wants it to happen, it will happen. I suspect Curry and Durant would follow suit. But all 3 are fairly old at this point, though they don’t play like it offensively. But anything can happen in a year.
Would be fascinating to see if an US group led by aging legends could be upset and be denied the gold.

With the level of talent confirmed, ther’es no way they lose. Thing is that guys like LeBRon and Steph aren’t selfish, they will not take the ball if someone else can score.
