The first day getting my ps4 had to wait over 24 hours for any 100gb game to download. 3 days later I finished my downloads for what few have I had.

My friend does this except I have to constantly listen to him bitch about how laggy shit is.

How about you not buy that 20th 12 pack and get better internet bro?

I remember the pain of downloading a game maxxing out at 500kb but luckily I was able to get fiber so its now 500mb so it’s always nice

My pc struggles to download games at 5mb because it is very close to out of range from the WiFi. I can’t move my router closer because it would stuff up everywhere else in my house.

Me starting a download before bed praying that it’ll be what the titles says it is in the morning.

    Currently I’m at:

    download 463.86 Mbps

    upload 518.31 Mbps

Assuming it’s a *stable* connection that’s 10/10, I’d be very content. That’s enough to download or stream pretty reasonably I think.

I live with my parents, they have fiber 300mbps

meanwhile, I’m at the opposite side of the house with a BPL (thing that gets internet through electricity), and that shite give me at best 10 mbps, at worst 7. WiFi is slightly better, but I get short cut of Internet amd that’s a big no while playing online.

one day I will leave and have my own place, but till then I will endure.

my parents cam download things for me, tho. but I try to not ask much

When I played in PlayStation downloads didn’t work right. They would start fast and then eventually go to 0 and just sit there, requiring me to stop and start the download to make it go again. Steam always downloaded at my max speed so I know it was a Sony problem.

Xbox has a similar problem. Download speeds rarely go above 300 Mbps while Steam and Epic can max it out.

Why do these huge corporations have such terrible infrastructure?
