Not unusual to find old consoles here, less common to find them still in their box though.

How much was it?
You can likely buy it and flip it on eBay to a collector for some actual cash
Oh man. I would love to have an old school mega drive again.
The hours I spent playing Sonic the Hedgehog 😊
I loved my Mega Drive. First console I ever got, it was a Christmas present from my parents in ’93. Busby the Bobcat and Sonic 2. They had me pick it so they didn’t get the wrong one, so I knew exactly what I was getting, and I was absolutely beside myself with excitement over it.
We unwrapped it at my paternal grandmother’s house at Christmas dinner. She had no idea what it was or why I was so excited.
Thank you for the nostalgia rush, OP 🙂
When I was at Super Potato, they had a stack of them with some other retro consoles. Quite a few unopened. Blew my mind.
Nostalgic momento
So interesting. The katakana on the upper right, haha. “Mega Drive”
Which year is it? Such old ones will be even more expensive someday
