Honestly doesn’t look too bad. The aging super-hero trope hasn’t been touched on too much in live action. Low expectations for this one, but could look worse.
Feels weird that Amazon is dumping MGM movies with barely any promotions.
this one I can understand but I don’t know why they are throwing 13 Lives under the bus considering MGM thought it would be a major award season contender.
So is this Amazon’s grand plan for MGM? Just dump all their movies onto Prime Video? What a shame for MGM. They deserved better. Especially since they were on their way to making a comeback before Amazon intervened. This honestly really bums me out.
I’ve developed a hatred for these boring generic cgi sequences. They’re just a big waste of money. great cinematography in action scenes, preferably practical effects, is what stands out.
hell I’d rather they kept the action to a minimal and make it suspenseful than throw in one second of that bad cgi.
It definitely seems to harp off a couple of the popular trends; superheroes, old-young character dynamic. It could definitely benefit from better costume design, imo. Idk, armored superhumans never made sense to me. I do understand how it’s cheaper to just put some armor over a jumpsuit instead of making a detailed, MCU-style super suit tho
In all seriousness, this doesn’t look *amazing.* But it ***is*** quite Stallone, and the fact that Amazon is just dumping this on Prime disappoints me. Because if fucking ***SLY STALLONE*** isn’t enough to sell cinema seats these days… then who is?
So he’s basically got super strength and regeneration but also wears some cheap looking armour(that he forged in his apartment) and uses a hammer as a weapon..
Is anyone else reminded of that 1990s low-budget superhero movie starring Shaquille O’Neil? Steel?
This actually doesn’t look too bad. Instead of the train wreck I thought it would be, this looks half decent. And who knows, it might end up actually being good!
Echoing just about everycunt here — how does this look actually kinda okay? Fully expected a total bag of shite, but it looks kinda nice — the costume is a bit generic, the tone doesn’t seem as insufferably dour or unbearably jokey as lots of superhero stuff seems to want to be. Looks like a strong 7/10

A lot of trailers, first images coming out today.

This actually looks… ok?
I’m just hoping for a montage when he starts getting back into shape

Doesn’t look bad. I actually like “off-brand” superhero movies.
He is still acting after all these decades wow
I’ll watch this.

Didn’t expect the Rocky franchise to go this way but I’ll take it.
this started as a Rocky script, right?
doesn’t look bad at all
I’d probably watch it, I like Stallone and it doesn’t look instantly bad like a lot of his more recent films.
It definitely seems to harp off a couple of the popular trends; superheroes, old-young character dynamic. It could definitely benefit from better costume design, imo. Directed by Julius Avery who did *Overlord*.
I have a good feeling about this movie.
Makes me wonder if he could have played a half decent Batman.
Color me surprised.
He’s going to be like One-For-All and give his powers to the kid at the end.
Stallone is a legend, I hope this turns out great for him
So that’s where the accent’s from. Samaria.
Stallone’s Career:
“Hey yo…. I didn’t hear no bell”
I did not click on that expecting it to look good lol
if there is stallone there will be me watching
Sure, why not? I’m in.
It looks like a decent popcorn action movie.
I like that kid actor, too. Also in Umbrella Academy and that one-word HBO show I can never remember the name of.
Who else thought it said Scatman – Official Trailer?
~~New Nanaue HBO show lookin’ good~~
In all seriousness, this doesn’t look *amazing.* But it ***is*** quite Stallone, and the fact that Amazon is just dumping this on Prime disappoints me. Because if fucking ***SLY STALLONE*** isn’t enough to sell cinema seats these days… then who is?
Looks better than expected. Didn’t think this would be a superhero movie at all, but the action looks great, I’ll watch it.
Finally a trailer for something new that actually looks good
I’d watch it.
That looks pretty good.
So he’s basically got super strength and regeneration but also wears some cheap looking armour(that he forged in his apartment) and uses a hammer as a weapon..

Looked so good until that PG13 at the end 🙁
Looks way better than the garbage artwork they’ve put out there.
I’m so happy for Javon Walton. That kid was phenomenal as Ashtray and he was great in Umbrella Academy as well.
This actually doesn’t look too bad. Instead of the train wreck I thought it would be, this looks half decent. And who knows, it might end up actually being good!
Looks entertaining.
Kind of like a mid-budget superhero movie from the 90’s.

I love unusual superhero projects, and this is one of them. So excited to see Sly as retired superhero.
