We used to go to a small theater in KC years ago to see Rocky horror. We’d take spray bottles for the rain and toast to throw at the appropriate time. These are great memories for me from the early 80’s. I’m amazed at how accepting we were of transgenderism so long ago. Why is there so much hate now?

There was a local gay club back in the 80s that used to put on gay musicals. Here’s one they did of Rocky Horror. That place was a blast.

Rocky Horror was always fun if you were allowed to throw toast. Some places banned it but that’s no fun.

weird, I actually just finally watched this for the first time yesterday after just knowing it via osmosis through just life. All through out this scene all I could think about is how the extras look like they are right out of the 2020’s

WHY do people like musicals? I absolutely cannot stand any movie or TV series that interrupts the flow of the story to do some correographed immersion ruining song that is mostly repetitive chorus. Because if it were a good song, it would be a song… not some musical garbage in a musical.

Seems like every TV series ever had a musical episode (or several) and I’ve heard people say it was their favorite episode. When I was young and TV wasn’t on demand… I was SO disappointed when it was a musical episode or a revisit of clips from the season (filler episode). These always felt like it was for the actors more than for the viewers, because its probably more fun to do. Than just act out a stereotypical character.
