I remember first watching Blazing Saddles in Spring of 2016. I rewatched it scores of times after that. I was heartbroken to hear that the Waco Kid was taken from us months later.
Just found out trading places was supposed to star him and Richard instead . But that was when Richard had his burn incident. So it went to Eddie and Dan.
Between 1967 and 1974, Gene Wilder starred and co-starred in The Producers (1967), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), Blazing Saddles (1974), and Young Frankenstein (1974). That’s a pretty insane run.
So happy to see something like this coming out, he really deserves this. Still missing you Gene, you are a one of a kind comedian, actor and person 😢❤️.

His role in The Little Prince… I dont know if it’s possible for a man to be more vulnerable, you want to just hug him after every line
Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka, Blazing Saddles, See No evil Hear No Evil.
Those are the movies of my childhood. Glad he shared them with us.
When and where does this air?
Really shows how iconic Gene Wilder was as Willy Wonka in particular. They even used the Willy Wonka font in the logo.
Brought tears to my eyes. We love and miss you Gene.
Such a sweet, brilliant man. If you haven’t read his memoir, Kiss Me Like A Stranger, I highly recommend it. Tender insights to his self.
Fun fact – we share the same birthday.
♥️♥️♥️
seems that the World Premiere of the documentary is this Thursday, May 18, at the [Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival](https://lajfilmfest.org/)
Damn I forgot he passed away. Loved his movies, big part of growing up

Sign me up. This man was one in a million. What an on-screen presence and unique charisma.
I didn’t know movie trailers could make me cry
This warms my heart. I’m glad there are people who want to keep his legacy alive.
The scene in Silver Streak with Richard Pryor in an XK-E in the sunset…
Just found out trading places was supposed to star him and Richard instead . But that was when Richard had his burn incident. So it went to Eddie and Dan.
Well now that I remember there’s no longer a reason to see the movie.
Gene and Gilda FTW

I feel so lucky to have grown up impacted by this man. Forever changed by him

Freaking absolute Legend, master of his craft ..
