Looks like this is distributed by Paramount. Wonder if they’ll pick it up if Peacock goes under.
In fact, did Peacock get any better throughout 2022? I used a free month back in Feb to watch the Super Bowl, and only found myself additionally watching Macgruber.
I can’t even tell if that’s a real photo that’s been run through a few filters or some rendering.
Can’t go wrong with Natasha Lyonne in anything
Man, say what you will about Johnson, but that dude can put a cast together.
Dont get me wrong , I really like Natasha Lyonne but every role she plays is the same, its like she cant play outside this same character.
Have they been using the Columbo titles font this whole time?
Also: I know this is sort of a mashup of Columbo and Rockford Files, but with Natasha Lyonne instead of Peter Falk + James Garner (it’s remarkable how well Lyonne works as the answer to that particular equasion, too) but if it’s adhering that strongly to Columbo – basically every guest star that just got listed is probably the killer, right?
Which is as it should be
The only other question I have is as completely superficial as the first one: Considering it’s Lyonne, considering it’s 70s influenced, considering it’s based on both Columbo and Rockford – sorta surprised to see *almost zero* smoking in here.
Anyway: This is literally the only thing Peacock’s got going for it at the moment. Hope it works out.
At 1:32 I’m pretty sure Natasha Lyonne is punching a Krampus in the face.
come at me if you want i don’t care, but i’m pretty much sold on whatever rian johnson does nowadays
This looks like it’s gonna be so good. The tiniest criticism of the editing though; those names need like a half a second longer each. The guest stars flashed REALLY fast.
What is about these characters where they always find a dead body everywhere they go? I think Monk found a dead guy in an airplane once.
It’s weird that everyone’s shitting on Peacock here. It’s pretty damn cheap especially with the promotions they run (I got a whole year for like 20 bucks), it has all the classic comfort comedies from the 2000s-2010s, Premier League and WWE if you’re into those, lots of old NBC classics, at least some of the Blue Skies USA shows, etc. It’s really not that bad.
Oh so that why she had a cameo in Glass Onion.
So when does it come out
Love it but I just cancelled Peacock since the departure of Girls5EVA, don’t see this getting me to resub.
What a cast!
No news where this will be available internationally?
I am here for any mystery this dude makes from now on
Yeah I’d watch that
Pa pa pa pa pokher face
Best remix
So if peakcock isn’t available in Canada is there going to be any (legal) way of watching this here?
This looks fucking great. Anything Rian Johnson is involved with I’m watching. The cast is also great.
First show that will get me to watch something on Peacock I guess. 2023 is looking amazing for TV. We’re getting this and The Last Of Us within the next 3 weeks.
