A Japanese company sells really high end Taiko drum controllers for your home consoles and PC that are identical to the heads on the real “Taiko no Tatsujin” arcade game. They just do not have the fake taiko drum body in the back (kinda wish they did for the cost)
They are about 500-600 buck range though. They sell the good sticks here too. I’d love to have one to mess with, but these are just a bit to spendy for such an extremely niche controller toy (and I am a drummer and love that sort of stuff)
I’d honestly rather just invest in a high end real taiko drum. 600 bucks would go a nice little chunk of cash toward buying a nicer one. Good sized and quality Taikos are like 2-4 grand.
