Peppermint is an underappreciated action movie. Riley North needs to be added to the list next to Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley.

Until there are as many movies, and she has household name recognition like the other two, no, her name belongs nowhere near Connor and Ripley.

no… it was a bad movie, just a horrible script. the acting wasnt the worst, but wasnt great either.
theres like 50 better heroines between peppermint and terminator.

I’m taking partial credit (blame?) for this post, since I mentioned it yesterday in a thread asking for great action heroines (in which the top answers were Ripley and Sarah Connor). I did, however, describe it as Hollywood revenge-fantasy shlock. In my defense.

I know it wasn’t the best movie but I enjoyed it. But I just love Jennifer garner because I miss alias so much.

Never seen it, tho’ the promo piqued interest. Still not sure whether I missed anything.
It drives me nuts that people use “underrated” when they mean “underappreciated” and this is the first time I’ve seen it done right in a long while. Just wanna throw some appreciation in for that. Lol. Also will check out the film despite the negative comments.
