I frequently volunteer to run A/V (audio/video) setups, including livestreaming, for friends/local businesses. during this particular incident, I believe Youtube was having some sort of server side issues, which prevented the livestream data from making it to whoever wanted to watch. somehow, this resulted in a negative viewer count. as a software dev, how is that even possible?
(no, it’s not inspect elemented. i wish i had more proof, but unfortunately i was actively trying to run both an audio mixer and a slideshow, so I couldn’t get anything more than this.)
