“Peacemaker” The Vigilante Prison Fight

  • I really enjoyed the camera work during all the fight scenes this season. Especially the parking lot Judomaster fight. Great movement that showcases great choreography and fight acting.

  • John Cena is legendary for participating in this show. Some bits went over my head because comics and general nerdiness, but he showed incredible range and competence as an adult performer. Something he lacked in his previous profession. Also, he’s proven he is more of a Bautista than “The Rock”.

  • On top of being funny and kicking a whole lot of ass I really like Vigilante’s costume. It looks super hero enough to be effective while also looking like something he could actually put together.

  • His interaction with Harcourt when she picks him up after he’s released always makes me tear up. He tried so hard to do something to help his best friend and all he can do is think about how he made things worse.

  • The one thing I don’t like about this scene is the end. I’m no prison expert, but from my understanding, yelling loudly that you have information to give the authorities sounds … unwise, even for big daddy.

Also, I know it’s only February, but I’ll be fucked if this isn’t the best show of the year.

  • I honestly thought he was going to get his ass beat in this scene.

So weird when I realized this is the same Vigilante from Arrow. Who was played as an entirely different type of psychopath who terrorized Oliver Queen.

  • It’s crazy to think about how Vigilante was supposed to be played by a much older actor. They shot 5 and a half episodes with him, and then had to reshoot all Vigilante scenes because the actor dropped out of the show due to creative differences. Watching the show though, I cannot imagine anyone else playing Vigilante.

  • Always felt the sentiment it wouldn’t exist discounts evolution. I think someone would’ve experimented with music regardless. Attributing inspiration is accurate, and wouldn’t have happened as early as then.

  • >Which one of you dumb, sister-fucking, tiki-torch-carrying, Sloth-from-the-Goonies-looking pieces of shit wants to go next?

    >Who the fսck are you?

    >You’re first? Cool! Okay, wait. No, let me guess. Your favorite contribution to Black American culture was all the Black guys who fսckеd your mom in the ass while you watched from the closet, jerking off?
