The writing seems rote.

I have no idea what to think of this. It looks like the opposite of something written by Charlie Kaufman… Could this be some kind of misdirect for something more twisted and interesting?
The baseline is that it’ll be a cute, fun Dreamworks movie. What’s really got my attention is Charlie Kauffman. I’m so curious what he bringing to the table and if there’s a lot more going on.
Also Werner Herzog is in it.
