M.Night Shyamalan…oh no. At this point I just want him to succeed so maybe he’ll retire…? Since making bad films doesn’t seem to stop him from making more.
“Knock at the Cabin” is an unofficial sequel to “The Last Airbender”
This poster already has me confused af so I guess I’m interested.
I’m an unapologetic Shyamalanafan but a lot to do with this film is bugging me.
Mainly, that it’s an adaptation of Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. It is, in my opinion, a very good book. But you see with this film that they’ve changed the title, and there’s no mention of ‘based on a book by…’. Paul Tremblay has, since around 2015’s Head Full of Ghosts become something of a recognised name in the horror novel world. What I’m saying is, his name and the book origins of the film are both something I’d expect to see in promotion. Its a selling point.
Unless… The film is very loosely adapted and nobody wants to be associated with it.
The plot sounds really intriguing, but what a hideous poster
Impressive that they still put M Night’s name all over the poster like it’s a selling point.
Can the twist be that its a decent movie?
Awful novel. Awful director. Pass.
Oh boy, can’t wait to see how hilariously bizarre this movie’s gonna be!
No /s, btw, I genuinely love Shyamalan movies.
keep that little flower for ur self dumb little girl
Im just excited to see Shyamalan collaborate with some other writers, as he tends to get stuck pretty far up his own ass —not to say After Earth or Devil turned out particularly well however…
Where Sunny in Philly meme?
Question: so it comes out Feb 3rd, will this count towards this years Oscar’s or next years?
> Save your family or save humanity. Make your choice.
What a shitty tagline. Already, I know exactly what the movie is going to be like and I’m not excited.
I read this book and it was good but sad. I don’t enjoy horror as much as I did when I was younger, before I had kids.
Already looking forward to it!!!
Me: huh this looks like it could be interesting
Also me: oh wait it’s M. Night Shyamalan
