Wal mart says these are $15.99 for 4.4oz of coffee, that’s more than $30 on your shopping bill for barely more than HALF a lb of coffee. They sell the whole bean for 1 lb (16oz) for $19.96 (still pretty high if you ask me, but it’s not creating heaps of trash like a k-cup does)

Buying 2 packs, you effectively paid $18.64 for a bunch of plastic cups you’re going to throw away and the “convenience” of being a lazy contributor to the devastation humans have on the planet. (Also, you paid more for the packaging than the actual coffee! D’oH!)

You’re tossing your money straight into the trash..

Which brings me to my next thought: why don’t they have reuseable K-cups where you just measure the appropriate amount (0.44oz / 12.5g) and put it in?? Oh that’s right, because the profit margin on their packaging is higher than their coffee, and K-cups are an engineered way to sell people trash for more than food.

Edit99999: They do have reusable K-Cups. There is a 3 pack at Wal-Mart for $12.45. Had you bought a lb of coffee and the reusable K cups it would have cost you the same amount of money and you would have had close to 2x more coffee, and the next time you buy a lb you would get close to 4x more coffee for the price thereafter.

I encourage you to be a wiser consumer and be conscious of the environment. It’s pretty easy and will save your wallet.
