When going to work earning money and paying makes you stronger in a game than actually playing, you know it is crap.
I remember watching a film and putting ads on silent so I can get loads of gems in temple run.
You actually watch the ad? I set the phone down and go grab a snack or something.
Installed an racing mobile game watched 30 minutes worth of ads for all the cars that are in the game before i tried to actually play the game, after getting everything i tried the cars with the best stats and the game sucked, just uninstalled it 💀
DBD mobile has a terminal case of this. You can get characters that pc and console players have to spend money on just by watching ads, because there’s a not so insignificant chance of your reward for watching said ad to be some premium in game currency. Fortunately there is no cross play.
