I just finished Titanfall 2 and now I’m thinking of playing AC6
My first AC game was project phantasma or something like that. And i was like, “this is the closest thing to piloting a gundam”. And i ended up bringing my ps1 and a 14″ boob tube tv in my neighbors house so we can link up our ps1 and battle each other out with different AC builds.
I am on my third play through i loving it cant suggest it more
I hope this leads more people to emulation. Mech games were plenty in PS1 and 2 eras but since then they have waned. I am so happy for the fans of this series and genre 🙂
You should try and get copies of Zone of the Enders 1 & 2 if you love AC. They were amazing back in the day.
Not really similar but you might enjoy Mechwarrior 5 as well

It’s such a great game and I’d recommend it to anyone. I love it’s almost retro structure, it’s got some amazing spectacle moments too and brilliant characters (without seeing a single character’s face)
it’s such a good mashup of classic AC and modern soulsbourne dna
I’m in the same boat. First time and loved it. Already got the true ending and everything
Finally a FromSoft game that doesn’t hate its player base by trying to make them cry.
I am likening it more than I thought I would, not a huge souls guy but I do like mechs and never played the ones before for some reason.
