TBH I don’t really care about Jay-Z or Beyonce. But I hate that we are still doing this. We keep saying that people shouldn’t be shallow and should be willing to look past looks when it comes to finding a partner. That the measure of their character and their behaviour as a partner should determine whether or not you want to be in a relationship with them. Not just their looks.
But even though we are constantly saying that and trying to teach our kids the same thing. We will then also just turn around and go: “Oh look these two are together while one of them us UGLY. LMAO lol. That’s so funny! It’s so funny that you could love someone ugly! What a funny joke!”
When there’s a couple where one partner is better looking than the other I honestly don’t think it’s funny or something worth mocking. This just means one person was able to look beyond their partner’s appearance to who they are as a person. And the other apparently has a pretty good personality or is a really good partner.
This shit is to be expected from a 5 year old. But it’s so disappointing from grown ass adults.

For both of them, I think it’s their swag that ignites their attraction. Some may think Bey looks average, but she has major sex appeal and confidence in the way she carries herself and performs. That’s seriously attractive qualities for someone to have. Some may think Jay is ugly, but he has major confidence with a cool and welcoming demeanor. That’s also seriously attractive qualities. And, if rap game gossip taught us anything… apparently, Jay has strong bed game. So there’s that for Bey 😂. Nevertheless, he humilated and disrespected his wife, so I fully support calling Jay an ugly person.
