Still have my buttons from the early preview and the honor of meeting William S Burroughs himself ( and again later. Another day)
Underrated film
“I can think of at least 2 things wrong with that title”
i remember this movie when I was a young teenager and asking “wtf did I just watch?”
GodDAMNit Cronenberg is my favorite.
Peter Weller’s dry performance in this is perfect.
*Tom, I’ve brought you a new typewriter which conveniently dispenses two types of intoxicating fluids when it likes what you’ve written.*
I watched this when I was about 15 years old and I drifted in and out of sleep while watching it. I think that might have improved my experience if anything, what a wild movie.
that is one movie that doesn’t need a trailer.
Reminded of a very early Trainspotting in a way.
Reading “The Adding Machine” by William S Burroughs. He has a remarkable writing style.
“But we are talking about it, you just said it.”
“Not consciously. This is all happening… telepathically.”
